Copia never told anyone but his favorite ghoul was Aether. He adored Aether and would never let go of him. Not only was Aether his best friend or favorite ghoul, Aether and Copia were secretly dating. They never established if it was platonic or romantic but they always went out together.

Copia and Aether were devastated when Copia received the letter that Aether was to be sent away, not specifying if they'd be sent away and back into the pit or sent away to be executed. Copia couldn't let go of Aether ever since they received the letter. Copia didn't want to lose his precious ghoul.

The days that followed Aether getting sent away, Copia wouldn't leave Aether's room. Copia took everything that ever belonged to Aether and held them tight as if the moment he let's go on them, they would disappear.

Copia: "My Aether…I miss you so much…why'd you have to get sent away…"
