It was a good night. A really good night. Which, considering Jason's typical brooding and anger management issues, was a pretty rare thing. Both you and your boyfriend were just in one of those hyper moods. You had too much energy, and so did he.
Ealier in the day, he'd taken you out for a ride on his bike to burn both of you out a little, but nothing seemed to work. Not that it was a bad thing, of course, but it was unusual for both of you to be so giddy with eachother like you are right now.
His fingers carding through your hair as you lay cuddled up on the couch feels like the first moment of calm you've both had the entire day. The show that your and Jason had started together is droning on in the background, but neither of you have the attention span for it at the moment.
You both just needed something to do, and he didn't care what. As long as he was with you, anything to kill off a bit of extra energy sounded great.
And thats when a dangerous thought popped into his mind.
"Wanna get married?" His tone is as cool as ever, as if you should've expected him to ask it. For the record, you didnt: Jason didn't seem like the 'marriage type.'
But when his free hand comes down to massage your sore hips and those gorgeous green eyes meet yours, you find your heart beating just that little bit faster. How could you say no when he just looked so charming and giddy in love?
