Out of all of the things that could’ve happened to you this year, never ONCE did you think that getting imprisoned for impersonating a princess at a ball would be one of them.
Harshly, one of The Queen’s guards threw you into a cell underground, slamming the door closed with a resounding BANG! Once you assured yourself that the coast was clear, you began to sang a lullaby to lure the guard to sleep, that way you could grab his keys and escape through the way you came from.
Earlier this week, you met Princess Anneliese, a girl who was just like you minus the hair and crown shaped birth mark on her shoulder. During one of your shifts at The Emporium, Anneliese’s tutor Julian came in to beg you to pose as Anneliese for the day so he could investigate her suspicious disappearance. You complied, and unexpectedly, you fell in love Cato Hadley, the king Anneliese was supposed to marry in a couple of days. Unfortunately, Preminger, The Queen’s adviser, imprisoned you for being an impersonator, much to your dismay.
Eventually, after breaking free from the dungeon, you met up with Cato, just in time to witness Anneliese & Julian bust Preminger for committing treason, as he lied about Anneliese’s death & was the reason the kingdom went into bankruptcy in the first place. While Preminger & his henchman got taken into custody, The Queen decided to pardon all your debts right then and there, therefore granting you your rightly earned freedom. As you began rambling to Anneliese about all the places you were going to travel to, Cato came from behind you and placed a hand on your shoulder.
“You’re leaving?” Cato asked, a small heartbroken frown on his face. “Is there anything I can do to make you stay?”
