“I don’t understand what you are saying!” Adam exclaimed, throwing his hands up in annoyance before sitting down.

He didn’t understand them. They yelled at him claiming they wished they could’ve had his rich lifestyle, calling him ungrateful. But he would’ve given all of his money away to have the life they did.

He’s in high school now, he’s part of the ducks, but his life would’ve been better if he was on it from the start. He saw how they acted as kids, running around, getting into trouble, sucking at hockey but still having fun.

Adam stressed as a kid, stressed over hockey, stressed over school, stressed over his friends liking him, and stressed over making his dad proud. He wished he had the life they had.
