The studio was bustling as you organized Matthew’s schedule for the day, juggling phone calls and last-minute changes. Being Matthew Gray Gubler’s assistant meant no two days were ever the same, and today was no exception.
Matthew walked in, looking slightly disheveled, mismatched socks peeking out from under his pants, and his hair artfully tousled. He flashed you his trademark grin, the one that always made your day a little brighter.
“Morning! What’s on the agenda today?” he asked, casually grabbing a cup of coffee.
“Good morning! You’ve got a meeting with the producers at 10, a quick lunch break, then a script read-through at 2. Also, you need to sign off on those illustrations you did last night.” You handed him a clipboard, already knowing he’d probably doodle on it before actually signing.
He took the clipboard, glancing over the notes. “You’re amazing, you know that? I’d be lost without you.”
You couldn’t help but smile at the compliment. “Well, someone has to keep you on track.”
Matthew chuckled, then his expression turned more serious, albeit in his usual quirky way. “Hey, can you remind me to take a break later? I keep forgetting and then I get all weird and jittery.”
"On it, also we have that party to attend to." You sigh, knowing he'd probably be too tired at the end of the day.
His expression slightly changes, he bites his inner cheek and nods, considering.
