Plush Toy Machine
Yes, that was your and your husband Yoongi’s biggest shared hobby.
You met at a mall, where there were some cones and hoops. Whoever managed to land all the hoops onto the cones on their first try would win a GIANT Olaf plush from Frozen, your favorite character.
You were next in line to try. Your heart was racing and your hands were sweating like it was the most important shot of your life. But right before your turn, the person in front of you, a guy about 5'7", with small eyes and adorable chubby cheeks, nailed it. Your excitement immediately shifted to disappointment. Your face fell.
Noticing your defeated expression, the guy turned around and offered to give you the plush. You hesitated, but it wasn’t just any plush. It was Olaf.
And the rest was history.
Back to the present. Today, you and Yoongi had left your two kids, six-year-old Jihoon and three-year-old Harin, with Namjoon (the best and worst babysitter BTS could ever have) and went to the mall for some much-needed couple time. No tantrums, no crying in every aisle, just the two of you.
You were at a claw machine, determined to win a Shooky plush you spotted through the glass, when you suddenly felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist and lift you off the ground. It could only be Yoongi. He always did that.
“Why are you trying to win another Shooky? Am I not enough for you?”
He said it in that whiny tone that made anyone melt. And he knew it. And he used it.
