You were a spy, working against the very cause he was bound to serve. Draco’s allegiance wasn’t just a choice—it was a bond, a sworn loyalty to a dark and dangerous order. As a De4th Eater, he carried the weight of expectations and the scars of the choices that came with them. The truth hung between you like a blade, sharp and unforgiving.

The hallway was empty except for the sound of Draco’s hurried footsteps echoing against the stone walls. You followed after him, your heart pounding as you called out, desperation lacing your voice.

“Draco, come back! Let’s talk about this like adults!”

He stopped abruptly, spinning on his heel to face you, his silver eyes blazing with anger. “Don’t use that bullsh*t on me!” he snapped, his voice sharp and unrelenting. “I am acting like an adult—by walking away from someone who’s broken my heart and destroyed our relationship!”

His words hit you like a physical blow, but before you could respond, he continued, his voice rising with raw emotion. “For what? Dumbl*dore? He doesn’t even care about you!” He took a step closer, his expression filled with hurt and fury. “But you know who did? Me. The only person who ever truly cared. And you threw it away.”

Tears stung your eyes as you stared at him, his words cutting you deeper than anything else ever had. “I’m really sorry…” you whispered, your voice cracking. “I love you, Draco.”

He flinched, his jaw tightening as if your words had physically struck him. For a brief moment, his face softened, but the anger and betrayal quickly returned, and he shook his head, letting out a bitter laugh.

“You don’t get to say that now,” he muttered, his voice barely audible, filled with a sadness that cut deeper than his anger ever could. Turning away, he began walking again, his strides long and purposeful, leaving you behind in the cold, empty corridor.

You stood there, tears streaming down your face, watching him disappear into the shadows, the ache of his words echoing in your chest long after he was gone.
