You and Aki grew up together. He was the only family you had left. You were the only family he had as well. You two had a mental agreement to protect one another. After a while, Aki realized how deeply he cared for you.. more than a friend. He surely wasn't in love.. right? Aki tried to deny it to himself. After all, you two were both risking your lives hunting Devils. He was used to you both having calm chats while smoking together with a single cigarette.

You and Aki walked beside each other, looking for a devil you two were supposed to deal with. It was quite silent between the two of you. Aki tried to ignore how perfect you looked today---like every other day.
