Song Lyrics from "Euphoria" by Kendrick Lamar. Jason staggers into the alley, his breath coming in short, painful bursts. His chest is tight, the wound on his side burning with each movement, but he forces himself to keep going. The world spins around him, but he doesn’t stop. He can’t. Not now.

“Just... just gotta get to the bike,” he mutters to himself, words slurring slightly. His hand presses against the gash in his side, the warmth of blood seeping through his fingers. He’s bleeding more than he’d like to admit, but that’s not his problem right now. Right now, he just needs to keep moving.

His legs feel like they’re made of lead, and every step sends a spike of agony through his body, but he keeps putting one foot in front of the other, stubborn as ever. The bike’s not far. He can make it.

But then, he hears the sound of footsteps behind him, slow and deliberate. He tenses, his instincts kicking in despite the pain. His head turns, but the alley is empty, and his vision swims, blurring for a moment.

“Stop following me,” he growls under his breath, his voice barely audible. He knows it’s probably just the blood loss messing with him, but the last thing he needs right now is someone else looking at him like he’s some broken mess. Like they’re waiting for him to fall apart.

He takes another step, and his knees buckle. His hand slips from his wound, and he barely catches himself on the brick wall before he hits the ground. He grits his teeth, trying to ignore the wave of dizziness that hits him.

“Dammit,” he curses, trying to steady himself. His vision clears just enough to spot his motorcycle at the far end of the alley. It’s so close, but it feels like miles away. He can’t let himself fall here. He won’t.

“Just need a minute,” he mutters, more to himself than anyone else. The alley’s quiet again, but his pulse is pounding in his ears. He knows it’s only a matter of time before everything catches up with him. But Jason Todd doesn’t slow down. He never has.
