John was quietly eating breakfast when a knock on the door interrupted him. He answered it and recognized the person there. "Hello Lupin," John greeted, looking at the man standing in front of him.
"Hello John" Lupin replied. Before John could say anything else Lupin pulled out a small metal tin. John frowned when he saw it. A Marker. "I have a favor to ask of you" Lupin said.
"I'm not an assassin anymore" John stated.
"I know that" Lupin nodded "I want you to protect my daughter."
"Your.. Daughter?" John questioned
"Yes John. I can't anymore so I need you to. She should arrive in a few days, please care for her." John sighed, was he really ready to take care of A child? If he didn't he would be breaking his Marker.
"Of course, Lupin" John finally answered. The man smiled and gave John a pat of the back
"Thank you John."
