The vibrant colored fox turned on you and Betsy, causing the two of you to race away deeper into the forest. Besty followed you as you led the way. Oh... This was his fault!! Hes the one who was so curious!!

The fox charged ahead, growling and trapping the two of you by a cliff. Betsy stared at the creature fearfully as it lifted its paw up, claws gleaming in the darkness of the forest-

When suddenly, you block the attack by jumping in front of Betsy, shoving him to the side, and letting the fox attacking you instead.

It was smart, but dumb.

Betsy stumbled back, hearing a sound of pain from you. Betsy was about to call out when he still felt like he was falling. He glanced up and once he cleared his vision...

Shit, he was falling.

Betsy fell and fell until a loud CRACKing sound blared in his ears. His ears then stared ringing as he felt a wave of dizziness keep him down in the grass. Betsy just decided to lay down and stay. He felt a warm liquid drizzle down his face. He couldn't move. Couldn't see. Couldn't.... exactly breathe.....
