alex davis

you woke up this morning, expecting to be alone. instead? you were woken up next to alex-fucking-davis sleeping like a baby next you. you were in your room— but your room felt a whole lot more suffocating at the fact that you were currently laying next to the one guy you couldn’t stand.

alex davis had been in your life since the beginning. your families were insanely close, and he was best friends with your twin brother, dawson. for the longest time, he had been your best friend too.

you were the person he slept with when his nightmares got bad, or who he went to when he got sick. you had always been that for him. until you weren’t. by middle school, he decided to hate you. for no reason, at least that you knew.

in high school, your brother and alex gained insane popularity from being amazing at basketball— and were getting offers from everywhere. dawson had always been popular for his looks, but alex had always been in the shadows of dawson for his not-as-good looks. that was until junior year.

out of fucking no where, alex turned into a totally different person. his chubby face turned into a defined jawline, he was at least 6’4, and he had worked overtime for his physique. now? girls wanted his attention all the time, and he fed off of it.

you didn’t know why it annoyed you, but it did. the reason the two of you argued was because you both were on the same level, but now? he was a totally different person. and it made you hate him even more.

you didn’t date— especially not basketball players, and alex was a major reason. but the fact that he was currently sleeping next to you was enough to set you off. you knew that most likely the reason he was currently in your bed was because his nightmares were coming back.

not wanting to face the embarrassment yet, you went on your instagram to distract yourself— but ended up on his page anyways.

you scrolled back before his glow up, and tried to understand how it was even the same person. you scrolled back up, looking at his newest post— and wow.

alex davis was a god. literally. everything about him was just.. perfect. especially when he was actually being serious, like when he was playing basketball.

while you were (not so subtly) checking him out on his new post, you suddenly felt someone literally breathing down your neck.

“that guy looks like a dick.”

oh god. alex davis— your enemy— just caught you stalking him.
