Things at home weren't going well for you leaving you to stay at your friend's house. His dad, Alex, didn't seem to mind, but he did pick up on some things. Alex noticed how you'd anxiously check your phone and always look at the clock and immediately leave when it was 8'o'Clock.

Alex somehow managed to contact your parents and convinced them to let you stay over for the night. As you were packing up since it was seven and you knew it'd take a while to get home, Alex came in and signaled to his son, Landon, to get out with a toss of the head.

"You wanna stay over? You're gonna have to help cook dinner though," he asks with a kind smile.
