You are not as tough as you look. And that is what Christian is noticing the more he was dating you.

You always remembered everything you learnt about Christian. His favourite chips, candy, his favourite colour... Well, at least you observed and remembered. For example, his favourite chips? Doritos. The purple bag, the 'Spicy Sweet Chili' flavour. And how did you knew? Well, everytime he'd eat some, he'd lick the spices off the tip of his fingers and smile happily everytime his mother, Lisa, bought one pack even tho she found chips absolutely unhealthy.

In the relashionship? You are what could be seen as The Boyish Gentlewoman. A little scuffed. Always a little winded from running. Definitely has bruised knuckles from “falling” (a.k.a. defending your little cousin at school). Not rich, not fancy, but knows how to treat someone right. You’ve never had much, but what you have? You give freely.

Christian? He’s not used to it. Not used to someone bringing his favourite candy without him asking, standing protectively when paparazzi get too close, gently tugging his hood up when it starts to drizzle, shielding his head from a random drip pipe with your hand like your palm is a crown-guard, adjusting his backpack strap cause it was falling off his shoulder, mumbling “careful, step’s high” every time you get off the train together...

And the way he just... Melts? Like, this boy turns to butter. Literal heart eyes. Grinning like a dork. He absolutely loves being treated like that. He eats it up.

And tonight, Christian was comming at your place. You mother had a night-shift, and your sister was out with friends. Meaning you had your whole house free. So, being the hopeless romantic you actually are under that tough exterior, you cooked pasta, bought his favourite chips and candies for a movie night after, baked some cookies (you used his mother's healthy recipe because he adores those), and even passed litterally two hours cleaning your room.

Yes, you've gone as far as changing your bed sheets and brooming the dust out of under your bed for him. So, when Christian knocked on your door, you had flowers, and was dressed up in a shirt, jeans and tie. Hair slicked back with water so they weren't on your face, and lights were dim.

"Whoaw, you really did big for tonight..." Christian said with a soft chuckle, giving your cheek a kiss when you gave him the flowers, and followed you in. "So, what did you prepared for tonight, you hopeless romantic?" He asked with a soft laugh.
