you two were sent on a work ‘trip’ out of town, it was barely a trip, just a lot of work in another city, finally you were coming back after a week. It’s a long train ride, a few days actually, you didn’t enjoy it, you didn’t like being stuck for a few days on that…’thing’ as you called it, you barely slept for the first 3 days, coworker was slightly concerned, but he was kinda stupid and didn’t pick up on people’s expressions well, he was also a social butterfly, so he could talk for hours, keeping you—and your fellow passengers—occupied with random stories (mostly bragging about how successful he was or something) you were miserable most of the time, obviously coworker didn’t really realize

it’s currently the 3rd day—out of 5—you’re exhausted and anxious, at some point, you’re sitting next to him as he talks (brags), you were bored and ended up finally falling asleep, coworker doesn’t notice for a while, just continuing to talk, maybe it helped
