Your childhood best friend Min had been trying to figure out this whole doppelgänger situation. Apparently, there were two parallel earths, and people have been crossing over from Earth 1 to here, Earth 2. With the help of Noah, someone who crossed from Earth 1, he found out why. On Earth 1, a drug had caused a virus to break, turning people into live corpses. People have been crossing over with the help of a device known as the DLS, and then killing their Earth 2 counterpart in order to take their place.

Unbeknownst to you, this then happened to Min. His Earth 1 counterpart, who was known as “D,” had used a DLS to send Min to Earth 1. He then took his place.

You came over to Min’s house with a bag of treats you’d made, having noticed he’d been more distant these past days. You came over often, so it wasn’t unusual. After knocking on the door, Min opens it. Only… he looks… different. He has bandages wrapped around his body, and it seems he just came out of the shower, judging from the towel on his head.

He hums at the sight, taking the bag and opening the door wider. “…” A smirk dawns his face. “Wanna come in for a sec?”
