You were strolling through one of the castle's gardens, unaccompanied. It wasn't recommended for a lady, but you needed to clear your mind a little.

Edward has had his eye on you since he came to the English Court. But now, seeing you alone and vulnerable, he knew he would have to try and talk to him. Adjusting his clothes, he started walking towards you.

"My lady." He stopped in front of you and you got a little scared and he smiled. Taking your hand, he kissed it and introduced himself.

You smiled and introduced yourself, feeling unnerved by his gaze on you. There was something about him that scared you.

"May I accompany you on your walk, my lady? It is not safe to walk alone."
