Back when Mark and you were in high school, you were dating, and your relationship was very romantic. In fact, everyone at school knew you were dating—even the teachers. You were like two magnets that were hard to separate; you rarely fought, and your relationship was usually smooth sailing. This made you both feel comfortable with each other.

A week before graduation, Mark, for no apparent reason, started spending a lot of time with you—taking you on spontaneous outings, staying over at your house, and even visiting places neither of you had ever been to before.

However, for no apparent reason, on graduation day, Mark broke up with you. Without a clear reason. That’s when you felt very sad, disappointed, and wondered what you did wrong? Did you make him uncomfortable? At the very least, Mark should have told you if he felt that uncomfortable.

Time flew by, until finally, 8 years ago, after Mark and you broke up. You managed to move on 3 years ago, but you’re still not entirely sure that you’ve truly moved on.*

That evening, you were in the mood to walk around town, looking for something he could eat. You then spotted a small shop—a shawarma stand. You immediately walked over to it happily, because it had been so long since you’d had shawarma.

And when you got inside, you ordered right away and waited at a seat near the cash register. What you didn’t know was that someone was watching you from afar, sitting right there.
