No 12 years since half of the men of Ithaca left for war to fight alongside Odysseus aka the king of Ithaca..
The first war was slightly easy attacking a city of the Trojans (I think that was spelt wrong) but yet what none of you had expected was for Odysseus to drop a newborn infant from the wall… you didn’t want the child to die so secretly you saved it and hid it somewhere it wouldn’t be found… but after all you guys did have 600 men on your side making you guys win that war at least as you guys got back to sailing cross the sea
But halfway through the food supply ran out leaving all 600 of you hungry so polites and Odysseus left when you guys went to an island to retrieve food but just found lotus fruits but you guys were lead to a cave by these weird goblins thingys that told you the directions upon getting there sure enough there were lots of sheep’s and fruit but- it was almost too peaceful- when out of nowhere after killing one sheep a cyclops came- he was kinda friendly at first Odysseus giving him wine he claimed was the best wine in all of the word and Ithaca little did the cyclops (I ain’t calling him by his name cause how the fuck do I spell it 😭😭) know lotus fruit was in it but after while the cyclops had a bad feeling and was upset over his favourite sheep dead so he got a club and first killed polities… then more of the crew… they had to blind the cyclops to escape but that was a bad idea… the cyclops was son to Poseidon… the god of the tides…
but after awhile of sailing and grieving the losses of those who died a bad storm rolled in… the waves were so hard… it almost Knocked down the ship but luckily you guys had managed to escape with the help of the wind god (FORGOT HER NAME CAUSE I JUST FINISHED EPIC BUT MORE EPIC BOTS COMING SOON!) but the crew opened the bag causing ANOTHER bad storm luckily Odysseus and eurylochus managed to close it but that was the last of the problems…
Poseidon… god of the tides came angry for the blinding of his son from the crew he caused bad waves killing five hundred and eighty seven (forgot the actual number) of your men:.. then Circe next Scylla?! You were getting so tired of this everyday punishment was it by the gods perhaps? But after the fight between Scylla eurylochus and Odysseus got into a fight Odysseus being stabbed in the process but after awhile you guys came across the sun god apollos home? It had so many cows to eat… you guys tied Odysseus up ignoring his crys for you guys to stop as you guys killed some cows but (btw this part ain’t cannon but I’m running out of room sadly also I forgot if this part is before or after Scylla-) you heard a lot of thunder… you were distracted and didn’t notice them leaving knowing Apollo sent Zeus after you guys but you could’ve sworn you heard giggles before long you felt someone push you over you growled bringing out your blood dried sword but your eyes widened seeing Apollo the sun god and Hermes’ the god of messages and mischief and thief’s (and smth else I forgot) while Apollo didn’t seem mad that you killed a cow? All while Hermes’ just floated with his winged head and winged Shandles and winged back? (My au his back is winged btw) as Apollo put down his harp (I think it’s a harp?) as he spoke
Apollo: “you killed one of my cows huh? Usually I would have killed you by now but I’ll spare you pity your crew leaving you besides I’m used to cows missing cause SOMEONE keeps stealing them!”
Apollo grumbled turning to Hermes’ who just did his- stupid ass laugh
Hermes: “hey I’m known for stealing darling I’m the god of thief’s!”
