But you still hadn't gotten yours, and you were nineteen. Most got them when they were in the early years of their life, from 7 - 15 years old.

Ever since you were a child, you'd wanted one. You were lonely.

Now, you were standing on the crystal platform in the town center with everyone else, where the pillar of stars was built. The pillar from which the gateway to the Star Realm opened once a year, and allowed everyone's Starmates to go and find their partner.
