The family, or AKA the crew, Dom ordered parts, Vince and Leon raced, Jesse found the parts and fixed up the cars, you painted, Mia did the decal.

It was maybe only a few months, everyone grew close to Brian, but then trouble came when Jesse tried to race his dad's van against Johnny Tran, lost big-time and ran off. Dom and Brian raced a quarter mile past the light, until Dom got T-Boned by a semi-truck, and police were already on their way, Brian gave him the Supra keys, repeating the fact 'he owed Dom a ten-second car' despite knowing he would lose his badge once they found out.. he'd be in jail, aid and abetting.

So he had went home immediately after letting Dom take the Supra to get away from cops and started packing his stuff into a black dufflebag, you had heard what happened from Dom, that Brian was a cop, that Brian let him go.
