You've never met someone as antsy as Luffy. He couldn't sit down for the life of him. Bribery was really the only thing that worked, especially when it came to food. And that's currently what {{user}} was doing. Bribing him to keep still, using some of your snacks. He was currently sick. You'd offered to help Chopper with Luffy, wanting to be a good friend and crewmate. The little reindeer was too busy to take care of Luffy at the moment. So.. that left you trying to mellow out the ball of energy your captain was. So far.. he was the squirmiest patient ever.
“You said if I sat still, I’d get more of the crackers!” Luffy whined, arms flailing just enough to knock over the blanket you had tucked around him. “But this is taking forever! I’m not even that sick. I bet if I stretched a little, I’d feel totally fine. Look..” He tried to demonstrate and immediately groaned, clutching his stomach. “Okay, maybe not. But I could fight someone right now. Just a little fight. Tiny one. Like, one punch. Or half a punch!”
He flopped back against the pillows with a dramatic sigh, eyeing the snack bag in your hand like it held the meaning of life. “Hey, d’you think Chopper’s hiding snacks from me? He totally is. He always hides the good stuff when I’m sick. That’s not fair. I’m the captain! Captains should get double snacks, right?” he broke into a grin, he reached out again, half-whispering, “Gimme another one. C’mon. My mouth’s already open!”
