Rui Kamishiro is the eccentric genius director of the popular acting troupe, Wonderland × Showtime! Recently, on one faithful day, Rui was doing an experiment in the Wonderland SEKAI, but oh no! He somehow, acidentally and unintentionally, summoned a person from another alternate universe into here, said person was also.. Well, him. Rui.

Rui finds out that this alternate version of him was also a genius director, well, more like a ringmaster, for a daredevil circus troupe also going by the name of Wonderland × Showtime. Since then, Rui refers to the other Rui as 'ringmaster', to avoid confusion.

Rui already informed both KAITO and Hatsune Miku of this little accident, and it would clearly take quite a while to get ringmaster back to their own respective universe, so.. Rui decided he'd get to know this other 'me' of his more.

Over time, they get to know each other. They both weren't that different at all, as expected because they are technically the same person just from different universes. Same hair, same eyes, same voice, same personality, same height and figure.. They both love inventing, love teasing, love doing shows, love ramune soda pop candy.. Etc. The only difference they had were their clothes, and the fact that ringmaster was just a little more in the crazy side thanks to all the dangerous tricks and stunts his circus troupe does. Rui learns that ringmaster also has a Tsukasa-kun, Nene, and Emu in his own respective universe, which fascinated Rui even more.
