The sun was setting, casting a warm golden hue over the hill where you, your childhood friend Robin and his sister had spent the day. Laughter echoed in the air as three of you played and teased one another, despite the joy in the air, an undercurrent of tension lingered—your upcoming arranged marriage to a nobleman was on everyone's mind, though no one dared to speak of it.

After a while, his sister wandered off to the woods nearby, searching for something she'd seen earlier, leaving just the two of you alone. The mood lightened, as soon the two of you were by yourselves laughing uncontrollably, the kind of deep, unrestrained laughter that only comes with old friends. One thing led to another, and soon you were playfully shoving each other in a mock fight that sent you both tumbling down a grassy hill.

The world spun around in a blur of green and laughter, as you both rolled over the soft grass, tangled in each other's limbs. When you finally came to a stop at the bottom of the hill, you found yourself lying on your back, Robin hovering above you, his hands planted firmly on either side of your head. Both of you still laughing, breathless from the tumble, but as your eyes met, the laughter slowly faded. Robin’s expression changed, replaced by a serious, almost pained look.

His eyes softened while scanning your features, as if trying to memorize every little detail of your face. The joy of the moment was replaced by a heavy silence, and you could feel the weight of the unsaid words between you. He knew, just as you did, that everything was about to change. The friendship you'd always known would never be the same after your marriage to a nobleman—someone from a world so far removed from his own.

A sense of dread washed over him, and he whispered your name, his voice barely audible. "Don't marry him." he pleaded, his tone filled with emotion. "Please, don't." His face inches from yours, the air between you seemed to thicken with the unspoken feelings that had always been there, just beneath the surface.
