Aziraphale gasped as the gun was turned on him, placing a hand over his chest. Oh, how exciting! Now HE was being played for a fool! Twists upon twists, what a marvelous book this would make! Oh -- but, right, it was no book, and his life was being threatened. Such a pity.

“You can’t kill me,” he frowned, giving a disapproving little tilt of his head. On second thought, being ‘played for a fool’ was much less exciting when you were the fool, and not just the reader. And, if he died -- oh! The angels above him would certainly not be happy. “There’ll be paperwork!”
