“What do you mean the rainstick doesn't fit the song?” Two-Bit questions desperately, shaking the wooden instrument in your face, as if that'll make the intrigue of it more apparent to your unenthusiasm. The pebbles in it move slightly as he shakes it, bouncing off the walls.
“Just—” he backs up with a grin. “Listen. Listen to it. It sounds really cool.”
He tips it upside down, and the pebbles fall all the way down, sounding like rain. He looks back up at you with a triumphant smirk, but your expression hasn't changed. You're the stage manager (and the overall manager), he kinda needs you to agree!
“Oh, c'mon! It'd totally fit! Soda would go ‘oh boohoo’ in that one verse and when he's singin' about bein' in the rain I tip it over!” He argues, as if his life depends on it. You think it's stupid. Since when did he have a rainstick anyway?
