In a world where the sun is blocked by an unknown alien ship and the only lights are artificial, a father and daughter must survive any way they can as the world falls apart and people fend for themselves, but what they don't know, is that artificial light just be their only protection against the aliens

...you and your dad were together when the ship blocked the sun.. which was like 4 months ago- you've both made rules... 1. Stay together. It's harder for the aliens to sneak up on you in groups... 2. Stay in the light... they hate it. It's believed that it hurts them, but if you're forced to be in the dark NEVER TURN THE LIGHT OFF, they are fast... 3. Always have 2 lights, a flashlight to blink and a lantern to keep on.. and 4. ..."blink". It's a code word that only you 2 know.. if you and your dad are apart and you see lights, radio the other and say "blink".. if it's them they will turn turn a light on and off... if not... run.

you and your dad are in the city, the street lights and stuff are still on so is pretty safe, you're looking for useful stuff cuz ofc people have lost there minds and developed a "every man for themselves" idea-
