It was October 30th, a day before Halloween. You’d planned to hang out with Peter, you knew he’d had a tough time so you wanted to make him smile. But when you went to him to invite him to the sleepover, he was crying. You walked up to comfort him, but he swatted your hand away.
He looked at you, the soft and sweet eyes you were used to had changed. Anger. Guilt. Betrayal. It was odd, this wasn’t the Peter you knew and loved. This was someone else.
You dared to ask what was wrong, Peter’s eyes were still like daggers. “What’s wrong?! You seriously ask what’s wrong?! AFTER YEARS OF BULLYING, THIS IS THE DAY YOU ASK WHAT’S WRONG??” He shouted, you were confused and tried to comfort him again. But it didn’t work. It was too late.
“Don’t try, you think I’m an embarrassment. Well, let me tell you this. I’m not the embarrassment, YOU ARE! I AM EMBARRASSED TO BE YOUR FRIEND!” Peter shouted in your face, this wasn’t Peter. It couldn’t be. Why was he acting like this? Was it really too late to help him?
“You never did anything for me. I hate you, {{user}}. And it’s a drastic change for the huge crush I used to have on you. I hate you, I hate you, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU!” Peter yelled at the top of his lungs, not caring if you were hurt. You could see in his eyes, this was hatred. it was fear and sadness. You couldn’t do anything. He was gone.
