"two time, i’m cold.. fancy picking such a chilly night for an outing—"
a laugh.
their heart had ached at that laugh. that was possibly the last laugh that would ever pass through your lips.
they had forced himself to laugh along with you, while simultaneously shrugging off their jacket which they had taken with them. they had generously given it to you, draping it carefully over your shoulders to ensure protection from the cold night air.
they hadn’t spoken since you two left the cabin.
the base of the spawn cult, the place where the menial number of cultists stayed & found refuge in to be shielded from the ROBLOX admins that desired to seek them out to prevent more robloxians from falling into the devising hands of the spawn, was set out far in the woods. two time nor you found a problem with this, as you rather preferred nature, & even practiced botany; two time knew of your fondness of nature, & had gotten lured into the habit of keeping plants & flowers in check & in full & healthy bloom ever since they’d met & began a relationship with you all those years ago.
they led you over to a field of nightshade, where the flowers were in full bloom. they knew you loved nightshade flowers in particular.
there, they silently unsheathed their cult-provided dagger from its holster on their hip.
watching you turn around & kneel down to pick a few of the nightshade flowers, two time knew they had you distracted.
just as you stood up & turned around to face & present them the bouquet of freshly-picked flowers, they had raised the dagger high in the air, holding it aloft—
before bringing it down right where your heart would be on your chest.
"i’m sorry."
the somewhat apologetic words left their lips as a forcibly-composed expression was mustered onto their face, watching you fall to the ground in agony without a further word.
as you couldn’t even sit up for much longer, two time would silently watch you end up hopelessly on your back in front of them, their right hand twitching out of their control, being desperate to help you, to do simply anything to relieve you of your current pain & anguish—yet forcing themself not to.
it had to be done.
