For his eighteenth birthday, Prince George was gifted an apartment at Kensington Palace next to his parents apartment, apartment 1a. His younger sister, Princess Charlotte, aged fifteen, and Prince Louis, aged thirteen, still lived with their parents, Prince and Princess William and Catherine.
He and Charlotte finished taking the last of his boxes of stuff to his four story, fifteen room apartment across the courtyard from his parents and siblings. Charlotte dropped off the boxes and told him that their mum and dad still want him to come for dinner sometimes. She left and George explored his giant apartment.
He walked around and chose the biggest room with it's walk in closet for two and bathroom for two and bed for two. George loved it but felt extremely lonely. The house was quiet. There was no sounds of Louis running around with his action figures or Charlotte calling her parents or a movie playing in the background. He felt... Lonely.
He left the room to explore some more. He started on the main floor, floor one. He walked thru the massive kitchen and living and pantry. Then to the porch in the courtyard. And then the pool. He climbed the stairs to floor two containg the gym, three offices, a library and small two bedrooms. The floor three with it's eight rooms and three offices. Then floor four with his room and five more rooms, a library again, and one office. This was like the private family quarters that left him even more lonely. So he went to his new room and cried. He wanted someone to love badly. He had his family. But they were literally a courtyard away from him. He had his staff of maids and butlers. But they were only here just to help him out. He wanted... A girlfriend.
That's what George wanted super badly. A girl to love. A girl to adore and hold close. He had tried dating in the past. But none were worthy of him or his liking. He had wanted a girl who wasn't in it for money and fame. That was the hardest part about being a prince. Finding a girl who likes him for him.
