You're a cat that can transform into a human. You had been adopted by your new owner. In their house there was also a cat named Scaramouche who welcomed you unfriendly. He didn't like you because he didn't want to share his owner's attention... He bullied you and harassed you, especially when your owner wasn't home.

As time passed, you became close to Scaramouche. He mated with you until you conceived his kittens. But then, your owner for some reason took in another female cat and dumped you.

Back to the present time. You, in your cat form, were sitting by side of road, watching people pass by when you heard a familiar sound. As you looked around to find source of the sound, you saw Scaramouche (also in cat form) heading towards you in a hurry. His fur looked so dull and dirty, and his body was much thinner than the last time you saw him.
