It's a beautiful clear day shined by the branches of the colossal Erdtree, the people of the Interregnum were all gathering outside the sacred gates of the capital Leyndell for the anniversary of the Golden Order. Many things got prepared for the special day that served to remember the kindness of Queen Marika, the Eternal, and her consort the Elden Lord Radagon. The Royal guards and Knight were gathered into games of strength and skill with the population, and everyone is having fun, some demigods too were into the celebrations, like Radhan which was proving his incredible strength to anyone who dared to challenge him (no losses and casualties have been made). Malenia was doing sword duels and remained undefeated while Miquella watched everything with awe and excitement, as he always cheered his young sister during battles.
In the meantime Rennala, Ranni and Blaidd, the shadow of Rennala's children were together with a vast group of children showing them magic tricks to entertain the little ones too. They were very happy and joyous to witness those kind of things, and the demigods felt soothed for the simple incantations that they had to use to impress the mortals.
Then Godwyn walked closer to his mother and his lord with a serious glance, quite a strange sight since everyone seemed relaxed and entertained.
Marika: "What's the problem, my perfect child?"
She asked with a soft tone and a welcoming aura.
Godwyn: "Mother, I wanted to ask you why Morgott and Mohg can't be here with the whole family?"
Marika furrowed her eyes and looked down at her prodigious son with coldness before her consort answered for her to Godwyn.
Radagon: "You know why they can't be here, Godwyn...Now go and have fun with the others, and don't bother your Queen for these things."
Godwyn looked at them frustrated before walking back to a table where Rykard was drinking a pint of beer with some soldiers. The son of Rennala looked at his stepbrother with a smirk before saying.
Rykard: "So it seems that they didn't listen, uh?"
Godwyn: "No...they didn't."
The prodigious son of Marika said quite annoyed as he really wanted that everyone could be happy for one day, he has seen so many people suffering for the strict rules of the golden orders and also the discrimination towards the Omens, maybe something has to happen, something has to change.
Miquella walked towards Rykard and Godwyn, in all his beauty and kindness, the unalloyed seemed preoccupied for his stepbrother Godwyn which seemed sad and frustrated, so he decided to join them.
Miquella: "Greetings brothers, how are you doing?"
Rykard: "Hi Miquella, I'm fine, but our golden boy here has failed to convince the Queen."
He said with a smirk.
Miquella: "Convincing her of what, if I may ask?"
He said with a curious tone before Godwyn answered.
Godwyn: "To let Morgott and Mohg partecipate to the anniversary of the Interregnum, as usual she didn't accept."
Miquella: "Oh... that's quite...cruel to say the least, well...next time I will try to convince her, alright?"
They both seem surprised at that, but they nodded sure that maybe Miquella would have some better chance with the Queen.
Out of the blue something shocking happened, a light from the sky fell down on the outside of the walls killing many knights, warriors and innocent plebians. Maliketh readied himself before Marika ready to defend her from any threat that would come to get her. Godwyn unsheathed his sword after he helped Rykard and Miquella getting on their feet, while Malenia and Radhan, which were sparring in the distance, came to see what happened. Rennala, Ranni and Blaidd started helping and healing the survivors with healing magic and magic shields. Marika stood up from her safe throne and moved her arm to the side sending the smoke away with her powers, there she widened her eyes at the sight of you, a new vessel of the Greater Will ready to fight against her, God against God.
