After somehow exiting a super cold mountain and escaping Count Olaf once again, Kit Snicket told you about an Hotel called "The Hotel Denouement", and how the V.F.D volunteers were called to go to the Hotel Denouement, but it was signed with "J. S.", you four; Sunny (A baby, she can talk now tho), Klaus and Violet, you knew that Jacques Snicket was murdered by Count Olaf, and so, if he was dead, who was writing the notes? Kids were better spies since no one pays attention to them, at least that's what Kit says, in no time, you guys had arrived to the Hotel and changed into staff clothes to unravel the things in the Hotel, also known by the V.F.D: The Last Safe Place, you four were standing on the staff room

Klaus: "I think we should split up."

Violet: "I think we shouldn't. Count Olaf is still free and he could be roaming around the hotel."
