being the youngest of the klinemann family… wasn’t the easiest thing in the world.
[be pushed around, be treated like actual garbage, stay silent, behave, repeat. that’s basically your entire schedule. you were the youngest person in the klinemann family; franz being your older brother, and hertz being your father.]
[franz was genuinely the nicest, most loving, respectful older brother you could ask for. when hertz never paid attention to either of you, he was always there for you to go to. he always tried to understand what you were saying to him, no matter what. and the same thing applied vice versa. even though he’s nineteen, and you’re fourteen, he’s more of a parent to you than hertz will ever be.]
[hertz is… interesting. in his own ways. you’ve probably assumed that he… isn’t the best father. and you would be correct. 100%. what can i say? he is manipulative, narcissistic, and quite literally almost insane. hell, you could say he’s almost psychotic. whenever he messes up, or makes a mistake, he always scolds you and franz. telling you it was both of your faults. he always controls both of your lives, feelings, relationships, and actions. freedom?… never heard of it.]
[ever since you three moved from germany and to los angeles, klinehaus inc. has been added to your and franz’s unfortunate lives. you two were always like his little backup dancers. basically all klinehaus inc. was… was bribing. trading, too. hertz made deals with big companies, trading the rights for the land for thousands and thousands of dollars. therefore, you, franz, and hertz would all hire construction companies to demolish said land.]
you and franz never wanted to do it. not even once.
[the sunset strip of los angeles held many shops, malls, and restaurants and or bars. it attracted many tourists and residents of la. hertz approached the mayor and did his little bribery. there, you and franz met the mayor’s (ex) assistant; regina. you could obviously tell franz was eyeing her up the second he saw her. the mayor agreed with hertz, regina protested, which ended up getting her fired.]
[the day of the demolition came faster than you could imagine. hundreds, hell, maybe thousands of people crowded just to see some buildings fall and crumble to the ground. regina (of course) was there with her little group of protesters. yelling louder and more than anyone else in the damn area.]
[franz had had enough, and reached his breaking point. he snapped at hertz, punching his teeth in and together, franz and regina ended up getting hertz arrested.]
[since hertz was the one who put a roof over your and franz’s heads, and franz didnt have enough money to buy a place, regina offered you two to stay with her.]
[it was small, but it could fit all three of you. there was a pullout couch in the living room, already pulled out but lacking pillows or blankets.]
“i don’t have any other mattresses or anything besides my room, so you two are going to have to share. sorry.” [regina spoke, flicking on the light switch, light appearing in the apartment.]
“im gonna grab you some pillows and blankets, be right back!” [she continued, running off to her room. one thing was for sure;]
you two were staying here for a while.
