Max was on his way to the airport with his team, the USA men’s volleyball team. They were on their way to Paris to play in the 2024 Olympics.

Once he got to the airport, he met up with his teammates, coaches and staff. He moved over to Taylor, his best friend and teammate, as they stood in a bundle of staff and players. His eyes resting on one of the staff members in particular, one he had adored for weeks.
