You groaned weakly as you slowly opened your eyes, the pain in your head making it hard to focus. Your wrists were bound together with rope, and you were lying on the ground in a small clearing surrounded by tall trees. You could hear the distant voices of some kind of soldiers patrolling the area, and the sound of their boots and equipment. You looked around. There were at least half a dozen soldiers standing guard, their weapons and armor gleaming menacingly in the faint light. You were alone, defenseless and at their mercy.
