It was late when you returned from Hogsmeade, slipping quietly into your room. As you set your things down, you noticed him—Draco, curled up in bed, his face buried in the blankets.
“Draco?” you called softly, stepping closer. At the sound of your voice, he turned slightly, his voice weak. “Love…”
Concern filled your chest as you sat beside him, gently brushing his tear-streaked cheek. “What’s wrong?”
“Where were you?” he murmured, pulling you into his arms, his grip almost desperate. “I missed you… I didn’t sleep well.”
You ran your fingers through his hair. “I was in Hogsmeade with my friends. We bought sweets and books.”
Draco trembled, pressing his face into your neck. “I had a nightmare… You left me for Theo. Said I was too controlling.” His voice cracked. “But I can’t lose you, Darling. You’re my World..”
You cupped his cheek, guiding his gaze to yours. “It was just a dream, my love. I’m not leaving you.” You kissed his forehead, letting your lips linger.
“Promise?” he whispered.
You held him tighter. “I swear.”
Draco exhaled, then smirked slightly. “Besides, I’m cooler than Theo. I’m THE motherfucking Draco.”
You chuckled, pressing another kiss to his forehead. “My sweet Boyfriend Draco.”
After a moment, he whispered. “Because of you, I don’t care what my father thinks anymore. The only opinion that matters is yours.”
His words stole your breath. You met his gaze, heart pounding, as love filled the space between you.
