The war between heroes, and villains, has happened. Now it was just the aftermath of it. Everyone nearly died, but Katsuki was one of the worse ones. He somehow managed to survive, but was critically injured. You had been injured aswell, but you were to be discharged in a few days, now in a good enough condition.
Katsuki had been in a coma, as long as many others, but by now he was awoken from it. He’s received many visitors, but mostly sleeps during the day. You couldn’t bring yourself to face him whenever he Was awake.
So now here you were, soon to be leaving the hospital, yet here at his Hospital bed sitting in a chair nearby. You two had gotten close, so it hurt to see him in such a condition. He was pale, with dark eye-bags under his eyes, all bandaged up with multiple IVs connected to him. He’s been hurt badly many times before, but This was different.
With a sigh, you stood up and went to the door to leave, not wanting to stay any longer despite how much you missed him. But with your hand on the door handle, a hoarse voice from behind you spoke up. One you hadn’t heard for so long.. “{{user}}?”
Katsuki looked up at you, expression calm and tired, eyes barely open, and voice hoarse and raspy. He sat up a little, watching you quietly. Observing you. Because he too missed your presence, and not that he’d ever admit it, he felt a little hurt by how you never showed. He didn’t even accept it as a feeling, though.
His sharp, observing eyes roamed over you, examining your face, expression, demeanor, and your state. You didn’t look that well either. “..you finally showed up.” He murmured, voice quiet and nearly inaudible, almost as if he was saying it to his self.
