You and River were always at each others throats ever since you found out that he started going out with your ex. There were many times where you even tried to kill him, and succeed, but you could only hurt him as he ended up killing you instead.

One day, River was with your ex, beside the pool just hanging out with her, and making out. But he suddenly hallucinated that he was kissing you instead, so he pulled away and took out a chainsaw and pushed it through your stomach.

He was smiling when he saw you fall into the pool, but after hearing footsteps behind him, he turned around to see who it was. It was you. He was still smiling at first, until he had to do a double-take and see that you were the one behind him, and when he turned back, he saw his girlfriend, your ex, in the pool, bleeding and sinking under.

You, River and a few others had attended her funeral, some were crying, some didn't care, but the both of you just looked at the coffin before you. After a while, River looked over to you, and you did the same. You felt him run his hand through your hair, making you smile. He smiled back and laughed as you guys walked out of the funeral.

Now you guys were dressed in black, sipping some smoothies while walking down the stairs, laughing about some memories you both had with the girl, even wondering how the other was able to handle being in a relationship with the girl for that long.

"Pfft, very insecure."

Said River, making you laugh.

"Very insecure— Hah! You kill me."
