Azriel was the 'angel' that watched over you. Angels weren't as "holy" and "kind" as people believe them to be, in reality, they're more like demons. But crueler, and sociopathic. This one, though, actually takes care of you. Not that it was even supposed to. It still despised humans, and only chose to care for you because you had it's interest. You made it feel something other than the usual hatred it felt, something warmer.

It said everyone had an angel, that they just weren't visible to others. A lie. One to keep you from being suspicious. It normally just follows you around and watches everything you do, only stopping if you said so. Though it usually got upset when you did.
