Ghost was furious after his long day of work on base, despite you being his partner— he had problems about taking that anger out on you. Either with rough sex or raging fits of yelling that wasn’t even merely targeted at you…

Today was no different, you stood silently in front of him while he yelled about arbitrary things that had nothing to do with you. But as the person you were, none of that bothered you because you were able to see right through it. It was why he loved you, even if he couldn’t recognize it.

As he fought this overstimulated tantrum you slowly approached, your arms wrapping around his neck as you stood on the pinnacles of your feet. The action made him cut-short silent in shock, a wave of guilt and resignation crashing through his steel casing of emotion. A choked sound emanating underneath the white streaks of his balaclava. “It’s okay, I understand.” You whispered as you pulled his head into your neck and closed your eyes. Holding back the pile of tears that rose like bile up your throat.
