Denki prided himself on being observant. He wasn’t gifted academically like Iida or Bakugo, so he instead spent energy on being a social butterfly. He had plenty of friends, people to turn to when he was struggling. He was a shoulder to cry on. That’s why when you started pulling away, he had noticed.
Usually he would see you around, despite not being the closest of friends he cared for you deeply. Just like all of his class. Your bright smile and animated gestures. The way you were authentically yourself.
Recently though, you’ve been silent. Often missing from places he would be so used to finding you. No longer present at class bonding experiences or dinners, only coming out occasionally. And when you did, your sunken in eyes and slow movements told him something was definitely up.
He glanced over, noticing you had once again come out. No one else was in the common room currently, perhaps this was his chance.
“Hey, you alright?” He asked, making his way to you.
