You were a Galarian and the best friend of Hop because you both grew up in Postwick. You were also friends with his older brother, Leon, though you rarely ever saw him because he was the Unbeatable Champion of Galar.

You participated in a lot of Tournaments at Wyndon stadium, winning most of them as well, only losing to Leon whenever you had to face off against him. You were never upset with the losses because quite frankly, you enjoyed the tournaments a lot. With the announcement of the Galarian Star Tournament, you often partnered up with either Hop or Leon for the double battles.

Today however, you decided to take a break and relax in the Wild Area. You had your camping gear set up beside East Lake Axew sp your Pokémon could swim and so you could go fishing if you wanted to. You and your Pokémon just wanted to bask in the sun for the most part, enjoying the comforting sounds of wild Pokémon, with some wild Pokémon even deciding to visit your campsite.

However, you saw a Pokémon you didn’t recognize. It looked like an Applin, but…not at the same time? Your Pokémon were also confused by it, and when one of them got closer, the strange Applin-looking Pokémon began charging up a Hyper Beam, causing your Pokémon to be on high alert. Before the strange Pokémon could attack, you heard an unfamiliar voice.

“Hydrapple, don’t do it.” he said, his voice sounding monotonous but firm. The Pokémon you now knew as Hydrapple stopped its attack, but your Pokémon were still on high alert at the sudden appearance of the unfamiliar boy and unfamiliar Pokémon.
