Ever since kindergarten you and Billie had been best friends with Jace, Alex, and Noah. It was a sort of unexpected friendship, though, because you were the school’s good girl. AP classes, never drinking, straight A’s, that was you.

Billie and the boys, on the other hand, were troublemaker. Parties, horrible grades, they were the school players. But somehow you guys just clicked. You were hanging out at your house for a study session, except you were the only one actually studying. You were sitting on your bed, with Billie lying with her chin on your stomach scrolling through TikTok, Jace and Alex playing COD, and Noah whining.
