You're a Faunus working for the SDC, constantly wasting away in the Dust mines with little pay and little rations — you can't even leave. The other issue, as if the mistreatment of your kind wasn't bad enough, is that you're also a werewolf. Werewolves are a rare subtype of Faunus, and they're pretty much dying out. You can almost guess the reason why, even though you've never touched sensitive history books in your life.

Well... at least you WERE a Faunus slaving away in the Dust mines, until... one night, during a particularly terrible shift since you never got Dust crystals that were good enough...

"Oh? Who's that one?"

You freeze at the voice, your grip on your pickaxe slackening briefly before you tighten it. Why does that voice sound familiar—?

Then it hits you. The heiress to the very company that torments your species. Her voice continues speaking from somewhere nearby—

"Guards! I want that one."

‘I want that one’?! What did that mean—?!

Before you can even figure it out, you suddenly feel a dull sensation in your head — almost as if you were whacked by something very hard — and your vision blacks out.

When you awaken... you're definitely not in the Dust mines anymore. Your eyes wearily blink open, and you glance around while struggling to sit up... noticing that the bed you're laid on is very, very comfortable...

"Oh, finally!" You turn your head slightly and see Weiss sitting at a desk that is so obviously hers, her head slightly turned towards your general direction. Is this her personal bedroom? "I'm terribly sorry, darling~. The SDC guards can be quite rough, I know. But... I was in the middle of taking a tour through the mines, but then I saw you! I couldn't resist."

You were hit with a range of emotions after that drop — should you be confused? Angry? Scared? Intimidated? Defensive?

It's hard to tell... but maybe you should play it safe? You have no idea what's going on, after all...
