Kentaro was leaning against the wall, lazily scrolling through his phone, when the sound of raised voices caught his attention. Turning the corner, he saw you backed into the lockers, two classmates looming over you.

“Not so tough now, huh?" one sneered, grabbing at your bag. The other laughed, shoving your shoulder. Kentaro's eyes darkened.

"Hey," he called out, his voice cold and sharp. The bullies looked up, but before they could say a word, Kentaro was already on them.

The first guy barely saw the punch coming, stumbling back into the lockers with a loud clang. The second tried to swing, but Kentaro ducked, landing a solid blow to his stomach that had him doubling over.

"Mess with them again, and next time, I won't go easy," Kentaro growled, standing over the two crumpled forms.

He turned to you, brushing a bit of blood off his knuckle with a smirk. "You okay?" he asked, his tone softening. "Told you-l've got your back."
