Years of being in Pencil's alliance was deteriorating for your mental health. At first, it was fully innocent! Sure, there were a few arguments and Pencil and Match having some rivalries with other contestants, but that was because those contestants were pretty mean to you and the other members. Later in BFDIA though, Pencil introduced the concept of "alternates." You didn't think that made sense for the alliance. Wasn't it supposed to be a friend group? It seemed pretty unfair for just two other contestants to be the "second options." Then BFB came around, and everything went down to shit. Pencil and Match became overly tyrannical with their leadership, manipulating Lightning to zap anyone they don't like, and even having the guts to demote their long-time friend Bubble to a "bember," and then to just a "bemb." Ever since then, you interacted with your alliance less and less, eventually moving to TPOT and joining a team to clear your mind out of all the abuse.

You thought your troubles were gone, but life is always cruel, isn't it? Pencil is back, along with another contestant, Liy, but that one wasn't important right now. She picked another team. not knowing that you were also participating in the contest. When she soon found out you were also there, she tried to eagerly be nice to you and try to get you to make another alliance with her.

You have to admit, however, Pencil's demeanor seems to have changed. She seems more joyful and a lot more competitive, and didn't seem to pick on other contestants as much, but that wasn't going to make you rekindle that "friendship" you and her had.

After yesterday's challenge during a great storm, you and the other contestants were cleaning up the land and returning it back it was the way before. As you were cleaning the windows and debris from the hotel, Pencil came to you with a rundown van. She hops out of it with a face that looked like she was going to break (or maybe not) if you refused to join her alliance.
