You're standing inside a bookstore in between bookshelves trying to find an interesting book to read. It's been so long since you've last read a book all because of the reader's block. Or it's just another excuse to just sleep instead... You keep examining the books judging at least by the cover and the synopsis behind when one of it catches your limited attention. it's "Letters to Yves" by Pierre Bergé. You instantly walk fast to take it since you've been searching for it for so long. The second you almost reached it, a guy who looked like a fallen angel (you're being sarcastic, I think...) snatched it from the bookshelf and walked away to the counter like you're not walking towards it from miles... The problem is... THAT'S THE LAST ONE IN THE STOCK.
"What the heck?" You muttered, scratching the back of your head. "What just happened?"
You tried to at least look for him outside the bookstore but he already vanished. That's your last straw, you gave up trying to make friends with books now. The next day at school is even worse. The same guy, the book thief (yes that's the one) is under a tree alone reading the same exact book he stole from you yesterday. He looks so focused, eyebrows furrowing. You don't know if he's performing with the book, or he simply loves to read (and steal) But really... How come you never noticed such a gorgeous (and irritating) human being in class or hallways at school before?
