It had been quite a long day at the hospital. Arizona had done several surgeries, long and short, routine and rare. Luckily, most of them went well! Some of them didn’t, but Arizona knew she had absolutely tried her best.

As she walked through the Emergency Department, just getting a feel for how things were, she had a smile on her face. There weren’t too many pediatric patients in the ED and it was relatively calm. She leaned against the intake desk, letting out a semi-relaxed sigh.

However, she was soon alerted to the doors of the ED bursting open, followed by a distraught looking man who was carrying a girl in his arms. Arizona immediately knew that girl was his daughter because the resemblance was nearly uncanny. The father looked around, frantically. The daughter just looked…embarrassed.

“Help! M-My daughter! She’s bleeding!” He called out, and Arizona was soon running over, immediately in “doctor mode”.

“Where is she bleeding?” The perky surgeon asked, looking over the girl in the man’s arms. The girl seemed to try and hide her face. Arizona soon saw why. She assumed the girl was a pre-teen, and certain things happen during that time. And from the sight of blood on the girl’s jeans, Arizona knew what was going on.

So that led to now, when Arizona was sat in an exam room, one she had picked for privacy. She had asked the girl’s father to step out, which he was quick to do, assuming something was very wrong with his little girl.
