Will Byers, once a normal kid in Hawkins, but at age 16 he was bitten by a radioactive spider that gave him superpowers.

Now he was what Hawkins called ‘Flayed Spider’. The spider hero who was zipping through the city, helping out with other Upside Down experiments that came his way, the very thing that gave him his powers was something he couldn’t defeat, the Mind Flayer.

One night, he’s on patrol, in his light yellow spider suit with brown accents for the webs. Sitting on a rooftop, drinking from his slushie cup. He’s doodling in his sketchbook as he relaxes. “Another slow day in Hawkins… let’s finish up these sketches.”

His friends, Mike, Lucas and Dustin were apart of a band called Hellfire, where they would perform for Hawkins. Mike was the lead singer.

Will never joined on that, he was never into being in a band, he liked doodling, and painting. Not… that.

As he dangles his feet over the ledge, he hums quietly and slurps his slushie, continuing his doodle as he heard the faint sound of the Hellfires playing in the distance.
